Stephanie Fonteno joined MRLP in 2026 as Director of Employee Engagement & Development, bringing more than two decades of experience in the default servicing industry, with a strong focus on leadership development, employee experience, and operational strategy.
Stephanie began her default servicing career in 2004 as a foreclosure paralegal and advanced into supervisory and leadership roles supporting foreclosure operations and team management. She later held senior leadership positions overseeing foreclosure data analytics, client reporting, operational strategy, and business development within the mortgage servicing industry.
Known for her servant‑leadership approach, Stephanie is a passionate advocate for mentorship, employee development, and psychological safety in the workplace. She frequently speaks at industry and client events on topics including effective communication, leadership, and employee engagement. At MRLP, she partners closely with firm leadership to strengthen culture, develop talent, and enhance employee experience across the organization. In her free time, Stephanie pursues her passion for wellness travel.
