M. Kirby Sailors is an Associate Attorney in the Bankruptcy Practice Group at MRLP, where he represents clients in bankruptcy proceedings and supports matters across Tennessee. He joined MRLP in 2026.
Prior to joining MRLP, Kirby practiced at a law firm in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he handled a broad range of civil matters, including personal injury, family law, estate matters, workers’ compensation, and social security disability. In that role, he developed the ability to manage a substantial caseload, negotiate favorable outcomes, and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third-party stakeholders.
Kirby brings a strategic and client-focused approach to his practice, drawing on his experience across multiple areas of law. He is known for his strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to professionalism and ethical advocacy. His ability to adapt and effectively manage complex matters supports efficient and responsive client service.
Outside of his legal practice, Kirby enjoys working out, spending time outdoors, and fishing.
