Marcos Posada, Managing Partner of the Midwest Litigation practice group at MRLP, oversees the firm’s litigation operations in Illinois, Kentucky, and Ohio. He joined MRLP in 2013 as a Supervising Litigation Attorney and quickly rose within the firm, establishing himself as a trusted leader known for strategic insight, solutions-driven case management, and a steady, client-focused approach.
Prior to joining MRLP, Marcos built a strong foundation in financial‑services litigation through his work at a creditor’s‑rights firm and later as a Litigation Associate at a financial‑services company. Now, with more than sixteen years devoted to this area of practice, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in foreclosure disputes, title matters, evictions, code‑enforcement issues, and complex contested litigation.
A thoughtful and effective leader, Marcos is known for guiding teams through complex challenges with calm, clarity, and a strong understanding of client priorities. He excels at evaluating risk, developing sound strategies, and communicating case realities transparently, with a consistent focus on delivering efficient and strong results.

He has also authored numerous publications providing practical guidance for lenders and servicers on appellate decisions, property preservation, and compliance issues.

Outside of his legal practice, Marcos enjoys golfing, traveling, mixed martial arts, soccer, and spending time with his family.
