Jordan D. Beumer joined MRLP’s Judicial Foreclosure – South practice group in 2026 as part of the firm’s combination with Scott & Corley, P.A. He represents clients in matters involving foreclosure, bankruptcy, and default servicing throughout South Carolina. Jordan began his career with the firm as a law clerk in 2017 and joined the team as an attorney in 2019. Drawing on his strong background in creditors’ rights law and his understanding of the legal and regulatory issues affecting mortgage servicers, investors, and other financial institutions, he helps clients navigate complex matters with practical, strategic solutions that support their business objectives.
Jordan is an active contributor to both the legal profession and the default servicing industry. He serves as Chairperson of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Court Advisory Committee on Local Rules, Practice, and Procedures and is a member of several legal and industry organizations. A published author and frequent contributor to legal and industry publications, Jordan has co-authored numerous South Carolina legal practice resources and articles addressing developments in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and financial services law.
Jordan’s professional accomplishments have earned recognition through Greenville Business Magazine’s Legal Elite of the Midlands® in 2021, 2023, and 2025, as well as inclusion in the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in Banking and Finance Law. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, as well as pursuing his interests in fitness and writing.
