The JPEG Award recognizes individuals who exhibit a long-term commitment to the creditors’ rights industry, demonstrate initiative and leadership, support young professionals, and are recognized as service and volunteer leaders. Candidates undergo a rigorous selection process, including an initial blind review by a committee of ALFN Board members, Executive Staff, and selected participants from the attorney-trustee and associate membership classes. The final determination is made by the ALFN Board of Directors based on the committee’s feedback.

Clara’s selection for this prestigious award underscores her unwavering commitment to the industry, her proactive approach to driving positive change, and her outstanding ability to foster strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. As Director of Client Relations at MRLP, Clara serves as a vital link between the firm’s clients and its legal and operational teams, leveraging her exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate meaningful partnerships. Her role involves planning and executing attorney-led training sessions and other events, developing materials, coordinating speaker presentations, and ensuring client needs are met with utmost satisfaction. Clara’s ability to think creatively and develop personalized strategies has significantly strengthened relationships and fostered mutual growth.

In addition to her professional achievements, Clara is deeply committed to community service. She recently served as Chair of The Ruth Cheatham Foundation Gala for the second consecutive year, raising over $400,000 to support teen cancer survivors. This remarkable accomplishment reflects her compassion, dedication, and ability to inspire others to join her in making a difference. Clara’s leadership was instrumental in every facet of the event, from securing sponsorships to managing logistics and marketing, ensuring a seamless and impactful evening.

Clara’s recognition with the ALFN JPEG Picture the Future Award is a testament to her outstanding contributions to the industry, her unwavering commitment to excellence, and her passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others. At MRLP, we are committed to the same values of excellence, leadership, and community service that Clara exemplifies. We are honored to have her as part of our team and celebrate her well-deserved recognition with the 2024 ALFN JPEG Picture the Future Award.
