On May 2, 2025, MRLP proudly sponsored and participated in the CEO Build Tampa event, organized by Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, Florida, Inc. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1976, Habitat affiliates around the world have helped more than 39 million people build or improve the place they call home.
The CEO Build provided a unique opportunity for Tampa’s top CEOs and business executives to take part in a heart-warming event that changed the lives of a local family, built connections with each other, and created a lasting structure that symbolizes the power a business community has when it works together. Jane Bond, Managing Partner of MRLP’s Southeast Litigation Group, participated in the event, working alongside Scott Goldman, Head of Asset Management at Toorak Capital Partners.
The CEO Build included volunteer opportunities in the morning and afternoon, a gala-style luncheon, and a heartfelt home dedication ceremony where participants met the new owners of the home. Jane Bond shared her thoughts on the event: “The event was as wonderful as I expected it to be. It was great working together with Toorak Capital to help build this house for Carla.”
