Penhale, a Partner in the firm’s Alabama Foreclosure Group, has been named Chair of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Section of the Alabama State Bar. This prestigious role underscores Matt’s exceptional legal acumen and unwavering commitment and dedication to the legal profession.
Matt’s extensive experience in the financial industry includes his role as a Special Assets Officer at a community bank in Alabama. Prior to joining MRLP in 2017, he also spent several years representing clients with a focus on creditor’s rights law. Through this work, he honed his skills in various areas, including foreclosure, title curative, evictions, bankruptcy, and REO/closings. His combined background in both law and banking equips him with a deep understanding of the complex legal and business challenges faced by clients in the real estate sector. This expertise enables him to provide invaluable insights and strategic guidance in these areas.
