MRLP congratulates Laura Coughlin, Esq., Managing Attorney, West Coast Compliance, on her election to the United Trustees Association (UTA) Board of Directors for a three year term concluding in 2028. This appointment underscores MRLP’s commitment to industry leadership and our ongoing investment in the default servicing community.
Through its programs and services, UTA delivers meaningful value to members and the broader profession: keeping practitioners apprised of mortgage regulatory and compliance developments and industry relevant case law; hosting best in class educational meetings and trade shows; and supporting collective advocacy before state legislatures in nonjudicial foreclosure states. UTA also provides communications, education, legislative updates, certification, networking, and advertising opportunities, each designed to strengthen trustee practice and improve operating performance for member companies in default servicing.
