As students across the Atlanta area prepared for a new school year, members of MRLP’s bankruptcy team at the Roswell office recently came together and donated their time to help make that transition a little easier.
On August 13, MRLP employees participated in the Atlanta Bar Bankruptcy Section’s 2026 Back-to-School Challenge, a community initiative benefiting the Midtown Assistance Center (MAC). The challenge encouraged members of the bankruptcy community to collect and donate fully stocked backpacks for students in need while fostering a spirit of friendly competition among participating organizations.
MRLP team members volunteered their time to help fill backpacks with essential school supplies, ensuring local students have the tools they need to begin the academic year prepared for success. The event provided a meaningful opportunity for employees to come together in support of education and community outreach.
The Midtown Assistance Center has long served individuals and families throughout the Atlanta community, providing support and resources to those experiencing financial hardship. Through initiatives such as the Back-to-School Challenge, MAC helps ensure that children have access to the supplies necessary to thrive in the classroom.
For MRLP, participation in the challenge reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and charitable giving. Whether through volunteer projects, fundraising efforts, or service initiatives, our employees continue to find ways to support the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to the Atlanta Bar Bankruptcy Section for organizing this year’s challenge and to our Roswell team members who generously contributed their time and energy to the effort. Their participation helped support an important cause while representing the firm’s commitment to giving back.
